I was born and raised in a small rural town in Arkansas. I began my college career at a small school in Oklahoma. I later transfered to Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN where I earned my bachelor of science degree in Exercise Science. After graduating I wanted to find a summer job working with kids. I attended different camps growing up and have always loved the "camp" atmosphere. I found camp frontier in the summer of 2006 and it has been my home away from home every summer since. My first year I was a counselor for the 13-14 year old pioneer girls. Last year I worked as the CIT director. This year I am super excited to be the Day Camp Director. I am looking forward to camp and all of its awesomeness. While in high school I attended a summer camp and I remember telling my counselor "I could see myself working at a camp forever"! I love camp and all that it offers. My plans for the fall are to teach a 5th or 6th grade class or physical education!
